Youth Group

Youth Ministry for High School students is held usually the last Sunday of each month during the school year from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  Youth will learn what the church stands for and its beliefs.  Discussions and reflections will help them to understand their role as young Catholics in today’s world. 

High School Youth meet Wednesday evenings for fun and fellowship from 7:00 until 9:00 pm in the Gym.  Volleyball and dodge ball are the activities in the Gym and table games are available in the Youth Room.  We take advantage of this time together to coordinate our monthly outings sometimes to the city, on an outdoor adventure, or even a religious retreat. Appalachia

The Appalachia Group meets and raises funds during the school year to prepare for a week trip to the Appalachia Mountains in West Virginia. During our trip, we stay at the St. Joseph the Worker Youth Center organized by the Catholic Church of Preston County. While helping the needy in this area, we learn valuable skills in community outreach, home repair and additions. A sense of Christian fellowship among ourselves, the community, and the local church is a big part of what happens in our week stay. For more information call the parish office.
