The score beside Saint Gregory
School is the grade equivalent achieved by that class, which
means that while the average for grade 8 would have been 8.6 or
the sixth month of grade 8, our 8th graders scored a
12.9 or what you would expect a 12th grader to do in
the 9th month of grade 12.
This does not mean that they could do 12th grade work
but that they did as well on this test as the average 12th
grader would be expected to do in the 9th month of 12th
